Changing fuses within the Engine Bay
Hi all,
After reading the truck manual, it mentions that if you are changing fuses from within the engine bay, you have to disconnect the battery. Is this true?
My trailer lights are a little wonky and I think it's a blown fuse. I was hoping to just quickly look and change out for new fuses if this was the case.
Thanks!

I can't help but think that the warning is because of liability reasons. No car I've ever had required you to disconnect the negative in order to replace fuses.
Probably put that sentence in there so someone doesn't zap themselves.
I'd just change mine out the same old way. Don't want to reprogram the dash
