Anyhow, back to the stated topic, ha-ha.

I didn't even know that you could switch the orange relectors to black until last week!
A big thanks to 2009XLTBFF1fitty for providing me with the part numbers!

right mirror # 9L3Z17E748AA
left mirror # 9L3Z17E749AA

To replace the reflector just stick a small screwdriver into the slit area between the mirror housing and the reflector on the clip side and push the clip in slightly and slide it out. The reflector will bend a little bit and then pop right out. The black replacement plastic pops right back in. It literally takes no more than 30 seconds total for each side to pop out and put the replacements in. And since I really am not a fan of any of the orange on my truck, the end result looks so much better.

I just checked these part#"s and the description says w/o heat and w/out tow package. Is this right??? Anyone know

I switched out my set of black plastic ones for a set of reflective ones. If anybody wants to trade me their reflective ones for a set of black plastic. I want to make a set with strobe lights instead of leds.

HAHA I had the same freak out. When I saw the description (if you can even call it that!) and I was like WTF?!?

Don't worry, they are the correct part numbers. Look at my picture in the first post and that's what you get.

Im a huge fan of replacing the orange reflector on the mirrors. Ive been doing some searching and so far my options are to replace them with a black insert that is the same color as the mirrors or to get into a little more depth and turn them into led turn signals.

I was wondering if anybody has found these inserts in a gloss black? I would love for the inserts to match the body. I was also thinking about carbon fiber inserts but havent been able to find them. Could anybody help me!?

I guess I must be missing the appeal of black plastic. I'm staying with the reflectors.
