Recently snagged a 09-14 center console from a ebay. I finally got around to looking at my jumpseat tonight. 4 bolts and remove the electrical and Bam it's out. I go to dry fit the console on the bracket and it's nowhere close to fitting on top. Am I just being a bone head and I'm missing something really simple here ? BTW my truck is a 2010 stx. Take a look at the pic

After looking and comparing at other people's swaps I noticed neither side of my console is drilled. Does anyone know wtf is going on?

You mistakingly bought a console for a 04-08! Which bolts up through the bottom, not the sides like a 09-14 does!

Time to send it back... Whoopsie...

Yea I have swapped that style console and a flow thru console. There should be 2 holes on each side of the console and bolts to the bracket on the sides. Definitely got an 04-08 console there. Which sucks. Sorry this happened to you

Just showing him how the 04-08 look compared to a 09-14 but yes my mistake didn't realize his shifter was on the tree
