Center console to bench swap
I have the center console, not the flow through one, but the other style. I want the center bench seat instead. I'm just curious as to how hard it would be to switch it out. I don't have anything electrical in the console, it's just a big box pretty much. I'd rather have a bench seat for obvious reasons.
If this isn't too hard to do, how well do you think a gray or black jump seat would look against the ugly Pale Adobe?
On another somewhat related topic, does anyone know if the 11+ headrests can be adjusted, or are they stuck in that leaning forward stance like the 2010? I hate the headrests with a passion, but it's kinda hard to take them out, and I don't want to destroy the seat to do it.

You should be able to pull the headrest out and flip it backwards, spin it the other way and make it work. If your wanting to ditch the console, I think it's up to you. If that's what works and what you feel most desired do it. If you have the little console drop in tray that holds change and such, I'll buy it from you!

It's not difficult at all. I swapped out my center jump seat for a console and it didn't take long. Just need a couple different size sockets for the different screws, which you probably already own.
I ended up purchasing the actual bracket for the console; the center jump seat bracket and console bracket have different positions for the screws. Most on here just drilled and tapped the new holes themselves.
Of course the grey jump seat won't match the pale adobe interior, so if you think that will bother you even the slightest bit, I'd try to get a seat that matches.
This appears to be what you're looking for:

On my '13, the headrests ratchet forward.
Once you get them all the way forward, it will release and move the the full back position.
Not sure if they are the same on the '11 though.
