Be careful of wear you park your 2013 F150...

Someone backed into my new 2013 F150 (with 82 miles), this was in the parking lot at Walmart, so they couldn't have been going very fast. The damage for a 3-4 MPH accident done by a delivery truck or enclosed trailer hitting the top of the bed by the tail gate and rear bumper at the same time. You wouldn't believe how it totaled the side of the bed (will need replaced along with tail light assembly, rear bumper and all the misc brackets and decals on damaged area). Yes who ever did this never left any message or anything, just left the accident. Local Police won't get involved being on private property. Went to two body shops, both est. in the same range at $3,800 for repairs, there my Christmas in a nutshell. So be careful where you park because these aren't the old F150 of yesteryear - these fold up pretty easy.

I always try to park away from nuts. Learned that with my first truck. Walmart is one of the worst places to park too.

I hate people!

Sorry to hear that.

Walmart shoppers / drivers. Always park miles away it sucks to walk the distance but it may have saved you some grief. Sucks none the less :/

That freakin sucks to hear and don't understand why the local police won't do an investigation. It's a hit and run with a good amount of damage therefore here in Fl we would investigate and look at the video for evidence. Walmart usually has ok video that shoots out into the parking lot to a certain distance. Check into your local laws about hit and run with property damage and talk with your insurance for assistance.

Yeah, and everyone can use the exercise.

Trade off is having to listen to your woman complain about parking so far away. lol

Sucks OP. I can relate. Here in AZ there would be no police report either. Under minimum $$$ and no follow up, on private property.

Got in a parking lot accident in Napa years ago, and cops do not come out there, either.

As stated above, park at the end of the lot, away from everyone else. And don't assume they were only going 3 mph.

What do you expect from "those" people? Walmart employee was killed in Long Island during Black Friday from being trampled to death. I mean seriously? Walmart need to hire a private army to stop these people from acting like that?

The first thing I learned when I bought a truck. There are two places to park, one for cars/SUVs and the other for trucks. You never notice when you drive a car, but when you're in a truck, you notice all the trucks like yours parked way, way in the back of the lot.

I wouldn't park in front now even if it was 2 am and the lot was empty.

I loathe Walmart. I'll go out of my way to avoid it, even if it means spending more money on something. Too many inconsiderate d-bags that don't care about your property.
