Ruby Red Tri Coat is paint code RR, I believe it is on '13-'14 F Series trucks and other Ford vehicles.
Red Candy Tri Coat is paint code U6 and is on '11-'12 F Series trucks and other Ford vehicles.
Based upon the paint codes alone, my educated guess is they are slightly different.

I had a Laser Red 94 Mustang and it's very close to Ruby Red.

It Stinks in Here...
...The ruby red to me looks more maroon then red.
