Are theses two colors the same or very close?

From my prospective, Candy Red is a powder coat color that best matches Ford's Ruby Red.

I have a ruby red 2013 and my brother has a red candy 2010 with a cap

It's a little hard to tell but I think in the over head pic it's clear on the difference in color the red candy is a few shades lighter then the ruby. Also the ruby seems to have more of a deep color.

Ruby Red Tri Coat is paint code RR, I believe it is on '13-'14 F Series trucks and other Ford vehicles.

Red Candy Tri Coat is paint code U6 and is on '11-'12 F Series trucks and other Ford vehicles.

Based upon the paint codes alone, my educated guess is they are slightly different.

[MENTION=178597]MikeGel[/MENTION] is on point. When my Ruby Red is beside the Wifey's Candy Red Mustang the difference is very noticeable with the Ruby being darker. But, pull them away from each other, and the difference is less noticeable. I guess it's like an optical illusion.

I have the Red Candy Metallic and the Ruby Red is definitely a shade darker or more to the maroon side. I like both but think I like the Ruby Red better.
