Thats how they Should have came from the factory instead of the gaudy chrome tail lights.

quite frankly i think that the FX4 style tails are just right ... except ONE small detail ... the outermost edges of the assembly are still "white" (aka: clear plastic w/ some texture behind it) ... instead of being darkened in.

I guess the chromed trim tails are ok with a silver/white truck w/ the chrome package on it ... but after that, they should be the darker versions.

I searched about the candied lights and it looks like if you clear them, then wet sand with 2000 grit and then polish them, they'll be super shiny again.

i was going to clear them but they are pretty shinny in person if the dull out at all i will definitely clear and buff them
