Can you order the parts and add them?

I found a truck but it is missing the tailgate step and the stripper pole.

I know I could swap out tailgates but trying to find a cheaper method of doing it.

excuse my ignorance, but i never hear of stripper pole and truck in the same sentence. what is that?

That is the fold up handle that comes with the tailgate step. Sorry, it is my slang term.

Why do you want it? It takes way more time to pull it out and flip up the handle than to just step on the bumper and get into the truck. I'll never understand the step and handle thing, unless you have a camper shell and you are using it for truck camping. Even then the handle would never be used.

i believe he is talking about the step that pulls out of the tailgate and the pole that pulls up from the tailgate on the newer f150's. i am not sure if u can add the actual ford step, but i know other companies that make a tailgate step. if you google search tailgate step, there are several that come up
