Issue: Cannot default the My Ford Sync system (without Navigation) to Bluetooth audio
Some users are having an issue with when they turn the ignition on their My Ford Sync system reverts to Line-In even though they were using Bluetooth audio when they turn their vehicle off. They would like to have the system revert back to Bluetooth audio instead of having to go through the menus to be able to get to Bluetooth audio or use the voice commands. A Ford customer service representative FordIVTteam actually joined in the conversation and gave the reason why Ford made this change (as it would previously revert to Bluetooth) and the best method to get back to the source they wanted.

I've had this issue several times, same fix. Turn vehicle off, exit, come back, turn vehicle on and it's fixed.
Also been getting funky reactions from my steering wheel mounted audio controls.
Advance track goes backwards, volume up advances track. Dash mounted controls work properly during this issue.
Took truck into the dealer and there's a TSB and an update to (hopefully) fix this issue. Will know Monday after it's updated if it's fixed or not.

2 days after having TSB 14-0159 updated and no issues yet (knock on wood). I'm still leery to say that the TSB fixed the issue right now, but so far so good.

Bluetooth
Just updated SYNC on my 2013 XLT with the small screen and my Bluetooth audio from my iPhone 6S now comes up right away after I restart the truck! I am glad I checked this forum for resolution to this problem Thanks All!!

So, I did this update first back in? March? or whenever it came out. took me about 2-3 weeks to get it to actually load (it kept failing) Took it to Ford, and it wasn't worth $130 for them to do it, So I kept pushing on. Anyways once I finally got it to work I noticed that song names FINALLY showed over Bluetooth. Texting and Default to bluetooth still did not work. Fast forward about a month or so, I went down to my parents house. And randomly once I left their house, Texting started to work. About a month or 2 ago I jailbroke my phone, so I had to re-pair my phone. Again after a few weeks texting randomly started working.
Now, default to Bluetooth STILL doesn't work. Any ideas? or pointers to get this to work?
