Default Can i get a refund on my esp plan?

I bought a 2012 fx4 with the full maintenance plan and 6/yr 80,000 for 2,500 each so 5,000 total. I know I can get it for cheaper online. Would I able to get a refund? I have 1800 miles on the truck.

2500$ for oil changes and wiper blades, that a lot of them ;-)

1. Read your contract
2. Ask your dealer

Good luck

WOW...that is a chunk. I doubt you can get a full refund, but you can cancel and get a pro-rated return of some/most of your cash.

I'm not sure, I think you need to sell the vehicle in order to cancel it. At least that's the way I understood it!

Go to your credit union and refinance your truck....get their plan for the same things, so ask for it. Add it to your new loan, and you won't believe how inexpensive their plans are.....about 4k or more less......and you will be able to get a refund of your current plan. You are going to have to be insistent and settle for something less than a full refund. The reason you are going to have a "bit of" hassle is that your salesman made about an extra $500 dollars for selling this package to you, and the dealer made another $2500 .....I was in this business years ago, and these things are pure profit to the dealer....good luck!
There are some great credit unions out there. You can even join one like the Boeing Credit Union (GREAT outfit) on line and be approved within minutes .

I was able to cancel mine but they just paid it on the loan, they didn't send me a check.

Thats usually the way it works. I've bought some of those extended warranties on some MC's and you need to pay off the loan to get out of the contract. If you would've bought it on your own you can cancel on your own.

That is correct. My dealer sold me an aftermarket plan that I cancelled within the 1st 30 days and it was applied to my loan. Then I refinanced with Capital One for 2.9% and bought one online.
