The ones I have been doing will load onto 2013 trucks with the 'big' screen. With or without Nav makes no difference. (Can't comment on 2012 and older) The backrounds are 800 x 384 to fit perfectly. As for loading them, put them on a USB, plug into your truck, go into display settings on your screen and you should be able to follow the menus to locate and install from the USB.

Teach a man to fish.....

OK - how do I make my own. I understand that they have to be .jpg format as well as under a total size limit of 1.5mb.

My question is: what program are you using to make these.
The dimensions are 800 x 384
so to make my own "quadrant style" do I have the 4 images I want each at 384x192
then put them together in a "paint" style program?

Use a program called "paint.net"

http://download.cnet.com/Paint-NET/3...-10338146.html

for multiple images on same pic. Lay each pic (correctly sized) onto your canvas and place it where you want. You can start with a backround of your choice and lay over it. Or take up the whole canvas with your overlays.

You are correct with your dimensions and quadrant thoughts

Download and play with it. Its very easy to use. If you have issues, post back for help.

For single images as backrounds, I just use 'paint', the windows one. just crop/resize to proper dimensions and save....

Now go fishing.............

He's right. I have been using this program for years. It does a lot of the things you can do in photoshop, for free. Windows only though but pretty easy to use compared to photoshop. You don't have to be a pro to use it well.
