I've had my lights, but haven't had a chance to put them on. What's driving me nuts is there is a single red wire coming out from the back and I have no clue how to wire that up to anything. I know they are the wire so the LED can get power, but what do I wire it to?? Do I go straight to the battery or to my fuse box? The things didn't come with any instructions and The Lighting Firm has been less than helpful when it comes to explaining how or getting me some instructions that make any sense.

Is there anyone who is skilled at wiring or installed a set of these themselves that has a simple way of wiring? I'd love to finally get these on my truck instead of sitting in my dining room. Thanks!

That would really depend on when you want them to come on. The LED's won't draw much at all so i wouldn't even bother with a relay.

If you want them on with the parking lights, you can wire them up to the parking lamp (note that the lamps for our turn signals have two elements). You can find the one for the parking lamp by turning the parking lights on and using a multimeter. Someone else on this forum may already know the wire color/location.

If you want them on independent of everything else, you'll need a new switch in the cab.
