Default A/C question...

Hey guys. Do you guys shut AC off before turning truck off or do you leave it on and shut truck off? Does it matter? Is it bad for compressor to leave it on, turn truck off and restart with AC dial turned on position?

I don't see why it would matter

Lightbulb

Probably doesn't really matter, however, my habit is to turn-off -ALL- accessories before turning-off the ignition. *Though it would allow the blend door to park in its home position.

Also ..... When the A/C has been -ON- before turning-off the ignition, the A/C is turned-off and the EATC is set to VENT and run at high-speed for a few minutes before turning-off the ignition. Have never had any mold/mildew/vent-smell/etc. as the result of doing this simple pre-shut-down procedure in the past 30 years.
