Default Buy 2010 now or wait until September?

I am looking at buying a 2010 F150 FX4 Screw to replace my 2008 Screw. The local dealers seem to have a pretty good stock on trucks to pick from.
The best deal I can find today is 1.9% for 72 with zero rebates. Should I hold out until September and see what offers they have or move on the deals available today.
Thanks and great forum.

the only thing with waiting is you might not get exactly what you want. if you have found the truck that has everything you want on it i'd go ahead and get it bc it may not be there long

There seems to be a few trucks with exactly what I am looking for along the front range as of today. The big question is will the rebates or interest rates be worth the wait?

I thought the same thing. In the end, I bought last week. I have been truck searching for months and finally found the right one. I wasn't about to let it pass on a "what if" to save a few bucks. I took the rebates and got just about $10k off the sticker. YMMV with the selection, but good luck.

Does anyone remember what the rebates were like in the fall (meaning post october) of 2008 (when the new model 2009s were coming out)? I would think the rebates would get better and better as we get further into 2010, but there aren't going to be any 2011s for a while, so maybe they will take the incentives away.

Heck, last Saturday I just traded in my 2009 for a 2010.

Needed to go from Super Cab to Super Crew.

I would wait untill Labor Day weekend...Ford always offer special incentives to their dealers on the big summer holidays.
