I priced out both, spoke with a few line-x and then talked to the local bullet liner.

Bullet liner was cheaper and better customer service. I have seen the regular line-x fade and didn't want to pay extra for the "premium" when the bullet liner is supposed to stay black. I have had mine for a few months now and it still looks brand new!

That looks just like the LineX job I had done a couple weeks ago.

I'm not trying to knock, but did they spray any of the tailgate? Reason I ask is because LineX took the plastic off my tailgate and sprayed beyond the plastic. Even with the man-step.

Just curious. Looks good.

They didn't mess with the tailgate.

Crisp edges and color are the installer. Not the actual product. Line-X, while been around for a long time has improved dramatically, and proven itself on the market. That's like saying Ford has been around for a long time but Toyota is newer so it's better...? Not a fair argument, just an opinion. What is Bullet sprayed as far as thickness? Elasticity? Elongation?

As bar as bedrug. Anything not sealed to your bed will damage it. Hold moisture, rocks, dirt under the rug... Again just an opinion. But I do know line-x has proven itself within the industry. To me I stick with what I know and is proven.

Get what you pay for when dealing with honest professionals. Will never have to question Line-X, ever.

Any close up pictures of the bed bolts into the liner. The one posted looks like the bed bolts are sunk into the liner?

They take the bed bolts off when they spray it and put them back on after...

I could see that. But was curious if it was sunk into it after reinstall? "Meaning it was soft on reinstall of bed bolts," just wondering...

Never looked at that, but just got a couple pics of the rear bolts and they don't look sunk in at all. The installers and the owner were very very detailed and precise. Here took pride in their prep work and finished product...

Thanks. Curious as to how thick it is and other specs.

Sidenote I like that you have cobras. I have an '04 Mystic Cobra. Had a 98 bright Atlantic blue.

Not sure on the thickness, but it looks super consistent/even and no flaws like some off brand liners I have seen before...

My brother had a 98 bab Cobra, one of my favorite mustang colors of all time! Mystichrome is a pretty cool/rare color too...
