I think he might be saying the barb broke off the turbo inlet pipe. If that's the case, I'd at least wrap it to make sure you keep anything from getting in there and hitting the turbo blades. No way would I drive it with a hole in the pipe. I'd also still block off the PCV barb on the valve cover like Voz said.

I'd just call Tasca. Sometimes their parts diagrams aren't very clear. They are the cheapest I've found for OEM parts.

Did end up having any problems with it taped off ? I just broke mine today when putting in new spark plugs. It’s broken clean off the intake pipe

This is a 4 year old thread. Guys might not even be members anymore.

I would replace the part asap.
