Default Part number for folding tow mirrors!!!

Hey guys, I have a 2013 FX4 with the factory power folding side mirrors, they do have turn signal and puddle light. I am looking to get the tow mirrors as they make truck look more agressive IMO. I was wondering if anyone has the part number from Ford for the tow mirrors with power fold. Every part I find says manual fold. I don't care about power telescoping but I want the power fold to still work. Thanks!!

That I'm not sure of, but when you make the switch and if your old mirrors are in good condition id love to be first in line to take them off your hands! Lol.

If you are looking for the power fold tow mirrors, you are looking to shell out a lot of $$, about $850 per mirror, for a total of $1,700 for the pair. Those are also power telescoping, so if you install them, you will need an extra switch to extend them.

RIGHT DL3Z-17682-AA

I know Ford used to make power folding without telescoping, but I cannot seem to locate a part number for those, they might be discontinued.

If you don't mind loosing the power fold and power telescoping and the side marker, you can get Ford Accessory tow mirrors.

About $360 for the pair. A fraction of the cost, with Heat, power adjust, Signal and Puddle light. - Part# DL3Z-17696-BA

There are also various permutations of the tow mirrors, you can find them here:

Pretty sure a vendor here sells them for around $500 a set for power fold tow mirrors.

You are correct, how did I forget!!! 1A Auto sells aftermarket power fold tow mirrors. Look for them in the Vendor section. I think they run about $550 a pair.

If you already have power fold, power adjust, heat, puddle light and turn signal, then it's plug and play. (For the 1A Auto and Ford, can't vouch for the rest)

If you opt for the Power telescoping, then you will need to wire for that and add a switch for that new function.

I have everything except power heat so the 1A1 auto would be plug and play? Does anyone have the part number for the ford ones that aren't $800 and still have power fold, turn signal, and puddle lamp that's plug and play?

If you have power fold, then you also have heat, Ford does not make a no heat power fold mirror. So yes, the 1A auto power fold would be plug and play and everything should work.

The Ford one are horrendously expensive, I am not sure why! The Tow mirrors with Signal, Heat, puddle and manual fold are $350 to add the power fold, that jumps to $1,700, crazy!! For that price, you can buy Three sets of 1A Auto mirrors.

Ha so I have heat and didn't even know it?! Oops! I never saw the little emblem on the mirror that indicates heat, I see he little fold symbol on them. So when does the heat come on or are they always on? I guess I am going to look at the A1 mirrors, so I want have to use that installation kit they send with them then?
