Where does all that gravel hit ?
At work I park my truck in a prepared gravel/rock lot that employees park in and when I leave every now and then I hear a ping or such when I suppose a small piece of gravel stuck in my stock tire tread lets loose. It sounds like they are hitting the side of the truck and always makes me paranoid
I check my truck all the time for knicks and stuff and never see any. Anyone else hear this on theirs?

35" Trail Graps toss some big ones; I can feel them hit underneath my feet. As long as you don't have spacers or aftermarket wheels the rocks should be contained to the undercarriage.

Yep, all the time. Hear them hitting the floor and step bars mostly. There's one chip in my quarter panel that I'm pretty sure is from a rock coming out of the tread.

Most of them are the undercarriage although I was tearing it up on some rocky logging roads a couple of weeks ago and I still got some chips on the side of the bed even with weathertech mudflaps and stock wheels
