Brake is squishy only when not moving
I recently just put on new front rotors and pads on my 2013 f150 stx. When im driving the brakes feel perfect absolutely nothing feels wrong with them, but as soon and i come to a stop mainly when changing gears the pedal becomes soft and squishy. ive taken it to my mechanic buddy who works for ford and after him testing the brakes there where no leaks, no air in the lines nothing we where both confused on why the brakes are soft when not in movement. before i changed my brakes i never had this issue. wondering if anyone else has had this issue or may know why this is happening.

It could be the brake hoses. Try upgrading to steel braided and see if you get firmer pedal.

This happened to my previous truck an 08 F150 Screw. I was running 35's on the truck but the front driver side I had the spare which is like a 30 inch. I felt the same thing you did the brakes worked great while at higher speeds but when I came to a stop they became very loose. As soon as I repaired the tire and put the 35 back on it worked perfect again. My guess would be the ABS is acting up.
