I did put it a little further back, today. I was looking at a picture of the stock tail pipe sticking out .. that was pretty far out. I cut about 4" off it, when I installed the tip.

As long as it doesn't negatively effect my love life, I'm good with it! The girl at the store, "Loved it!" If it turns out to be a "good thing", I might put duals on.

Alright, I've looked through this entire thread and you guys are killing me with these trucks.

The blue is definitely number one on my list! Here's to hoping I can find one.

I had a hard time finding mine. I wanted an FX4 Supercrew with the appearance package and there were only 2 for sale between Dallas and San Antonio....I bought one of them.

Yes Blue flame was definitely hard to find. There was only two Blue FX4 supercrew here in Wichita one was being used by a dealer (selling it like new with 2k miles, pfft as if!) the other was brand new with 7 miles at another dealership. It was between Ruby Red and Blue Flame for me, in the end the Blue Flame just screamed out "Buy me, you'll look good inside me, I'll treat you Right!" Obviously I got the new one with 7 miles. So here it is:

Trading our 2011 white for this (officially) on Tuesday. Paperwork wasn't ready on Friday and being it's our long weekend, they gave us dealer plates 'til then. Nice little touches/fixes for 2013.

Like that the ribs are now out instead of in. Won't hold water up there now.

Finding blue flame XLTs wasn't difficult... but finding one with the pale adobe interior instead of the gray was much harder. Finding that with the 3.7L engine, which I wanted because of the fuel economy, was near-impossible. Add that I wanted the 301 package because of the power driver seat... There was only one in all of central Florida.

What bulbs you running in the heads/fogs?

Where did you get the lights for the front of the mirrors?

Bulbs are a 55W 6000K HID from retro solutions. I put LED strip lights behind my mirror reflectors, one for the running lights and one for signal and then put a couple coats of night shades to tint them a little. It’s a pretty straight forward mod with a few pages on the site giving step by step picture instructions. If you do the running lights its gets a little more complicated and I had to take my doors off to get the wire through the door jamb but in the end its worth it

Here is the link to the page I used (for running lights). https://www.f150forum.com/f38/mirror...eories-132547/
