It's the best color ever. I drove a similar color '95 T100 for 18 years and couldn't resist buying a 2016 SLT 4x4 Sport Supercrew. I get compliments on it everywhere I go. It would be fun to get a big group of Blue Flames together for a picture.
By the way, did you know that the Chevy straight six of the 1950s was called a Blue Flame Six?
I've been looking at trucks off and on over the last year and nothing caught my eye until I saw this beauty 2 weeks ago. I just couldn't pass on a loaded, blue flame, crew cab, 6.2l (woot!), fx4.
THIS is exactly what I was looking for! Looks great. I ended up with an '11 Limited to get the 6.2L.
I think i have posted here begore but here is the latest pic of my truck. Its riding on 285/70/17 Toyo AT IIs. The suspension is levelled with a 1.5" autospring spacer and stock in the rear. I love the truck and plan to add eaither wheels or a subwoofer next.
Finally pulled the trigger on new wheels. 295/60r20 Mickey Thompson MTZ p3 on Fuel Maverick 20x9 (+18). There was a little trimming needed. Lots of clearance on the UCAs. I had to take off the front mudflaps and put a 2.5" Level. Overall I'm quite happy with the look, and hope they perform as well as they look.
