Lots of people go with the weathertech digital fit floormats. They have one piece fronts and rears which cover the majority of the carpet.

Thanx chicoboost,

I ordered a set direct from Chicago, they should be here in 7-10 business days. It seems a little silly to buy rubber to place over carpet when these trucks should come out with the rubber to begin with. Maybe the carpet helps make the cab quieter. I can't believe how quiet this cab is, my ranger was way more loud. I'm super impressed with this truck so far. BTW, it's been hard to be away from it for the last 48hrs and hard to leave it at the dealer, I should be getting a call today or tomorrow and I'll post some pics as soon as I get it.

Default Some pics as promised...

I got the truck back and immediately took a couple pics in the driveway, then it occurred to me to drive down the hill and snap a few at sunset cliffs, enjoy.

BTW, the second photo is my neighbors new truck! He liked the deal I got so much, he went in and bought the black promotion pickup that I didn't get. There were already about 10 f150s up and down this street, one sierra, a ram, a tacoma, and a tundra. Now two STXs will be parked back to back on my side of the street

Nice looking truck! Your grille swap looks great too, something different that sets you apart from other STX's. You'll love it!

Default allow me to explain the craziness...

first off, I really just don't like the "C clamp" grilles. Second, I thought that the chrome running boards looked out of place being the only chrome on the entire truck and I like chrome on the grille (I know, I'm a middle age guy). The reason why I had to move away from the second look was that the chrome was a bit excessive on that look, just way too much. You got to remember most of my Ranger pickups over the years have had no chrome at all, so I've always been partial to the black grilles too. I just wasn't feeling the "C Clamp" so I compromised on my final tweak. Now I have the original surround with some chrome and to emphasize the bars I to a dip on the deep end and had some fun like a kid with some plasti dip on the mesh. I LOVE THIS LOOK! I like it so much that if the dip comes off I will be painting the mesh black with flat black paint. Thanks for looking guys and thanks for the positive comments.

That's a great mod adding the PTM surround. Looks great!

Dam that color looks fantastic! Your OEM FX wheels and your tire choice is the look I want on mine when my Pirelli's wear out. Beautiful Truck
