Blinking car with Lock light on dashboard??
I just got into work and after I turned the truck off I noticed that I have an indicator light blinking every so often on the dash where all of the idiot light indicators are.
It's located on the extreme left side of the display. It's red and looks like a car with a padlock next to it. Of course I planned to check the owners manual later after work, but in the mean time, do any of you know what that is and why it turned on all of a sudden? It goes off when the truck is running.

Bye F150, hello F250
I'vd had it flash once when someone in the fam-damily tried to enter the door code, 3 times, before I entered the proper one. When I started the truck, it flashed for a bit. Manual says try a restart to reset it, which I did, and it did.
If its prolonged, for sure, dealer time!

Relay! That is the answer, or at least, a test to try...
Take the blue wire that is hot in reverse and put that on the coil of a relay. The other end of the coil goes to 12v -. With the switch side of the relay, put a 12V line from the battery (through a fuse of course) to the input, and the camera + line to the relay switched output. The relay will not react to the pulse, so you will get a smooth 12V right to the camera when it goes into R.
Try that.
