Dual climate would use the same part number (at least it does for my '11 Plat): DL3Z-19E616-A.

There's a third actuator for the floor/defrost, but is a different part number. It's located on the driver's side, up high under the dash.

I had a similar issue with my 2011. Service manager at the dealer told me about $350-$400 for them to do it. Unfortunately it was totaled before I could get it fixed.

It's the blend door actuator that's going bad.

The PN is AL8Z-19E616-F.

Just keep in mind that the driver's side blend door actuator is directly underneath the center stack and the only way to replace it "properly" is to remove the ENTIRE dash panel.

There is a "kludge" way to do it but it requires not using one of the mounting screws: the original motor will have to be broken off with one screw still attached, then that screw has to be removed and the new part installed WITHOUT that screw; the plastic plenum below it is supposed to keep it in place once it's screwed back up tight against it. It's your call if you want to do the quick-n-dirty way, or the Ford specified way.

Passenger actuator is behind and to right of center stack (need to remove center console if equipped in order to remove center stack bezel).

Drivers actuators at very bottom of center stack, just above transmission tunnel and requires dash panel to be removed (unless you want to do the "hacky" method).

Floor/defrost actuator up under drivers side dash, to the left of center stack (can get to it by going under drivers side dash).

Could anyone enlighten me on a method to find out which one of the 4 actuators is bad??? (2010 Lariat-dual zone) it sounds/ feels low... like near the floor ducts... but beyond that I can't tell which side it is without tearing stuff apart and putting my hands on it.... not an option at -25. Thanks in advance
