Default Bird ATTACK will insurance pay for this.

Wake up this morning to a wonderful surprise!

They pulled the rubber from the bottom of the windshield and there are scratches everywhere!

Protected birds , so no I can't "take care" of them.

Will insurance pay for this?

Nothing but bad luck.....

Thoughts...

OUCH, what kind of bird does that kind of damage? Must say, Florida does have some interesting wildlife. I want to know because I am down in Jacksonville and Gainesville fairly often. Fortunately nothing like that has happened to my vehicle on those trips, yet.

I have something called "comprehensive coverage" on my auto insurance policies, with zero dedutible. It covers things like that. Even covered me for $3500 worth of damage when I hit a deer with my then brand new Lincoln MKS. I have State Farm. YMMV.

Good luck.

Yep....that is not uncommon in FLA..Guy here in Orlando had his weather stripping around the sunroof ripped out. Not sure what the driver is or what they are after. That is one of the worst I have seen. Sorry bro.

Holy crap. Been in Florida for 7 years and haven't seen that before. I need a big ole garage to park my vehicles in now.

Well i think the insurance may cover it but at a cost of your deductible also i believe everyone who reads this learned something today and that is 1 dont move to Florida...and 2 if you live in Florida buy a cover...

Was the truck parked at your house or someplace else?
