Default Biggest tires on OEM 20inch rims

I'm sure this has been asked and answered but I couldn't find the thread so. I have the appearance package 20inch rims on my truck which is stock. What the biggest tire I can put on my rims without a leveling kit? I might go with the rancho quick lift and if so what is the biggest tire I can put on with that? My goal is for my truck to have that wide stout look like the old F150s used to have. I'm really not interested in a lift at most a leveling kit. Thanks and please post some pics

The long answer......If you have the time you can do what I did & read through the 264 pages in the Tire and Wheel Fitment Guide - 2009 and newer. Its a sticky at the top of this forum. There are lots of user posts with pictures. I found it to be very helpful in my research.

I had these 305x55x20 (33.2x12.6) Nitto Terragrapplers on my stock 20's at stock height with no problems other then being close to the upper control arm. Truck was leveled later..

295/60/20 on mine with a 2.5" level. I bet they would have just fit without a level

I ran 33x12.5r20 general grabbers at stock height with no issues.they spec at 11.5 tread width and 32.9 inch tall.check my photos of stock heighth. It is very tight but worked till i got to level kit.

285/65s here. 295/60s are slightly shorter but wider and rubbed my control arm.

Paw Paw i dont think i have seen a pic of your truck since you switched to the AT2's. Do you like them better than the Nittos?
