I experienced this for the first time this afternoon, was kind of weird.. I just thought maybe somehow the tires lost grip.

This is very discouraging to know this, because I have wheels and tires on the way.

I put on 35s with my new lift and have had no issues at all with the traction control or anything else. About the only negative effect has been a slight drop in mpg.

I have a 2" lift, but no new tires yet. I wonder if the TC problem happens mainly to trucks with smaller gears in the rear end?

i've got 3.55 gears and 5.4, 295/70... don't think it's a gear issue.

ManTruck...don't be discouraged about your tires. mine has only happened to me two or three times, and it's been happening at 10+ mph transitioning from road to parking lot, split second it pops on, that's it. i would gladly do it over even if i knew the problem.

my guess is it could be remedied if the tire size was recalibrated on the computer. anyone know how to go about doing this?

My dealer does their own in-house lift package installations complete with larger tires and aftermarket wheels. I wonder if they've run into TC problems afterwords?
