I just found this thread and had ordered some just like these this past weekend from him. Planning on using plasti-dip on the chrome though. Can't wait to get them and put them on!!
Does anyone have any tips for installing these overlays smoothly? Is it pretty much you get 1 try and it's stuck or what?

I removed the plastidip and you might want to as well. My guess is that it is better to be on the actual emblem (more adhesion). You can aways plastidip around it.

Whoops. Maybe I should have paid more attention in my PMs with Moody Blue. This was his response when I asked about plasti-dip a few days ago: "Yes, plastidip the entire emblem first and then the overlays will go directly over the top. The flat black vinyl I use for the backer blends almost seamlessly to the plastidip."
It's amazing how big of a change adding these emblems to y'all's trucks made. I'll be sure to add pics when I get mine and install them!
