Does anyone have any tips for installing these overlays smoothly? Is it pretty much you get 1 try and it's stuck or what?
He sends directions. Clean the emblems good, spray with a soap mixture and slide on. If you have put a smart phone screen protector on its just like that.

Ok perfect. I've done that for other stickers and stuff but wasn't sure for these. I'm guessing that will still work fine for applying over plasti-dipped ovals?

BTW, Roll Tide. That first game in Jerry's World is going to be awesome!

I removed the plastidip and you might want to as well. My guess is that it is better to be on the actual emblem (more adhesion). You can aways plastidip around it.

Yeah I plastidipped my entire emblem and it stuck perfectly.. And the directions are very simple to follow.. You won't go wrong!! Pics when it's done! Oh yeah, GO BIG RED!

They stick just fine to the plastidip. I have had mine on for months now and no issues whatsoever with the adhesive not staying!

Whoops. Maybe I should have paid more attention in my PMs with Moody Blue. This was his response when I asked about plasti-dip a few days ago: "Yes, plastidip the entire emblem first and then the overlays will go directly over the top. The flat black vinyl I use for the backer blends almost seamlessly to the plastidip."

It's amazing how big of a change adding these emblems to y'all's trucks made. I'll be sure to add pics when I get mine and install them!
