I think most of the guys on here understand this is a hobby of his. Nobody is trying to discredit his work. I can't speak for [MENTION=56866]MT-Ford[/MENTION] but it sounds like he, along with myself, simply want an acknowledgement from Moody as to the status of our orders. I may be SOL as I haven't paid Moody yet (because he never told me a total for my order) but if I had paid, I would simply want him to message or email me simply to say that he is busy but hasn't forgotten about me. Let me reiterate I understand this is a hobby of his and I understand he is busy, but upon paying him for a service, the buyer is entitled to certain guarantees. Now as for the ones that ARE bad mouthing him (which I dont really see anyone doing), you can't really shut a thread down for that... Its simple freedom of speech. Its not any different than if he had a shop and someone posted a negative Google or Yelp review.

This isn't the public square, it's a private forum. The first amendment doesn't apply to a forum despite what you may think.

LMAO ... it's amazing to me how many people don't really know what the first amendment really is for or what it's addressing. The first amendment is there to allow people to voice their opinions about the GOVERNMENT and be free from persecution or prosecution for speaking out against our leaders in public fashion.

Anyone who thinks the first amendment means you can say whatever you want about whoever or whatever you want, and be totally free of any criticism or consequences for your actions is completely off base.

The point here is that Moody is a good guy with a pretty darn good product, but he's slipped a bit in his communication and/or production. I know it's frustrating for some here who have either paid or gotten verbal/written commitments from him, but let's just continue to track him down and get things back to even keel. Things will work out just fine I'm sure ... sometimes, stuff happens, but none of this is by any means a problem that can't or won't be resolved.

Hey guys, I saw a thread yesterday on this forum, there is someone else making these decals and is supposed to be of the same quality as Moody. If you are just trying to get something that you haven't paid for yet, you should check it out. I think it was titled "New Ford Overlays". I got mine from Moody a while back and they are great.

Ok guys, I went to Moody's house the other night to grill out and drink a few beers and here's what he told me.....

The reason he is no longer selling over the forum is because he was asked to pay a lot of money (over 50% of his earnings) in order to keep up the business and continue to sell decals here. For anyone else trying to sell (whether decals, retrofits, custom built bumpers, etc.) this will also apply.

I'm not saying that anyone is bad mouthing him personally, but I have read some derogatory comments directed towards him and with Moody being an active forum member it is against the rules and I can in fact have this thread shut down or your account suspended.

For those of you who don't believe me I have taken the liberty to copy and paste the forum rules here for you.

I understand everyone has their own opinion and I have read every comment in this thread since it has started whether I've commented or not. I'm not calling anyone out or saying that anyone has talked ****, but be weary of these rules above and let's keep things clean and professional... even though this page is about a business/product, it is also directly related to Moody as a forum member and not a company/vendor. Thanks for understanding.

He said that he is more than willing to fix the problem, he also mentioned that the only gets emails to his personal account now and any communication that was cut off must have been because it was an old business email account or other means. Pm me your email and I will forward it to him.

I don't want to make any false promises though, all I can do is send them on over to him personally and then it's in his hands.

He was already paying the vendor fee but was asked to provide more per each unit he sold, with his labor charge and material costs he was basically walking away with nothing.

If Ford were to step in it would've been a Cease and Desist order as they don't play around when it comes down to their trademark logos... just ask forum member SultanGris.

We all know you gotta spend money to make money, but he's doing just fine without using this as a means to sell anymore since they ask for so much on such a small sale.

Settle down there, sparky. Sounds like it is you who don't know what it's for or what it's addressing. Your rant was in the context of talking about Moody Blue and posting about him, if you recall.

In that context, I wasn't aware that Moody Blue was a representative of our government.

Even if he was, this is a private forum, and the free speech you're talking about would still not apply here. In the public square (in my example), yes, but not here.
