Default Wait time to wax a new truck?

My F150 XLT is scheduled to be built the week of March 4th. Does anyone know how long you are to wait before you wax the paint?

Why would you want to wait? I would clay bar and wax the day I get it. Containments begin to build the second it is off the assembly line.

I would wait till I got it home.

Dealers do zero to new trucks except wash em. Or if you opted for the $395 " protectant" lol.

I clay bar and wax all my new ones soon as I can.

I bought mine Friday night and Zaino'd it all day Sunday.

But if it just came off the assembly line, I would wait about 2 weeks for a good solid cure.

Even an ordered truck isn't "right off the assembly line" by the time you get it, it's been painted for at least a week or more

OK? My point is to wait about 2 weeks after it's been painted.

Ya they just spray em with water to remove dust at the dealer generally. The roof and hood on mine were like sandpaper till i clay bar'd it. I waited a couple weeks though, just personal preference.
