Default Best traction bars?

My truck like most trucks has the infamous wheel hop. And a know a good traction bar will fix that. I feel like any other mods should wait until I get the traction issue figured out. Anyone with first hand experience with traction bars on their f150s?

The ones I have (Procomp) eliminate all axle wrap/hop and still allow the suspension to fully articulate, they are a little on the pricey side but they work, also helps they look pretty good as well. Before the peanut gallery jumps in with rock hangers and other offroad nonsense comments, the way they attach makes it very easy to remove them, 2 bolts, 1 at each end. My truck is a 2wd pavement princess.

I've read a long thread about the roadmaster active suspension, and from what I gathered it eliminated all or most of the wheel hop, vibration etc

That is what is on mine (previous owner) can't comment on whether or not it helps, I have had the vehicle for three days.

I've had great luck with caltracs, reasonably priced, adjustable and are proven to take abuse.

A cheaper alternative is Hellwig helper springs , Might not be quote Traction Bars but they do help eliminate axle wrap .... I think they were 119.00 easy install and adjustable .... Bought mine because the dang truck didn't have the heavier rear leafs that come with the factory tow package and had too much sag pulling my aluminum boat ... The elimination of axle wrap was a bonus , as I just wanted the *** end sag gone .... I guess if you never get on the throttle you wouldnt know what axle wrap is .... glad I dont deal with it anymore
