I was wondering if anyone is running a 275/70/18 with a leveling kit? That tire measures up to just over 33. If anyone is running this setup can u please post pics. I seen cooper makes their discover atr in that size. Thanks

Doesn't look like you are getting a specific reply to your post. My response isn't exactly what you are looking for but I thought I would send it to you so you had a start on an answer to the title of your post.

By technical formula my BF Goodrich tires are 34.5 inches tall. They are 285/65s on the factory 20 inch rims. I have a Daystar 2" front leveling kit. I measured them after they were installed and the fronts are 33.5 inches tall (weight of front engine?) and the rears are 34 inches tall.

My direct but not scientifically calculated answer is yes.

I'm seeing on the overhead display (and I know its not accurate) about a 2 MPG difference on what I use to see before the bigger tires. I will get some calculations when I fill up but I'm sure it will be what I've seen in the past on all my trucks that I put bigger tires on. One to two miles difference.

But man it sure looks so much better.

Awesome truck. Did you add any height to the back of the truck? I have a platinum too and I want bigger tires when I get new ones. Also I can't tell from your pics but what bf goodrich tires are those?

That tire size will look good. Its the size I am going to eventually get. A lot of companies make that size. The Nitto terra grapplers and trail grapplers come in this size. If you like Cooper they have the Zeon LTZ and the discover s/t in 275/70 also.

Something to note with the mpg-did you calibrate your odometer? When you go to bigger tires and check yoru milage from your odometer, the miles traveled is actually more then what your odometer will say, because of the bigger. You can use a tire calculator (via google) to find out exactly, but with size i want to use on my new truck when the speedo says 65 I am really doing 68.9. Make sense? So when the speedo says you went 130 miles you really went 137.8 miles. Don't forget to consider this in yoru calculations.

hence-maybe your reference to (not accurate?)

@ApolloWar - any issues with the traction control since lifting and putting on the bigger tires? Also, any lift in the back?
