Best single exit exhaust 5.0
I'm looking for the best sounding single rear exit exhaust for a 5.0. Want an exhaust that sounds good but no drone inside the cab. Money doesn't matter. Looked at Corsa dB Series Sport Cat-Back Exhaust Kit what else is there.
Ps I hate the look of dual exit out the rear or I would go with the borla s-type.

I have SpinTech on my 5.0 and LOVE the way it sounds! It is quiet until you step on the gas and it sounds great. Had a little drone for the first couple hundred miles until it broke in.

I will give my personal input on your request.
I have the Banks Monster System on my truck.
I absolutely love it!
I'm now 49 years old but still love modding my truck.
This exhaust has a great rumble, but won't wake the neighbors at start up in the early hours. Nice & quite during idle.
It has a great deep throaty sound when cruising, and I've experience NO drone. And when your right foot demands the "go" it definitely opens up with one of the nicest exhausts I've owned to this day.
There are some other great ones (including magnaflow) that is very nice too, but I'm only sharing my personal experience.

I'd definitely go with either Banks exhaust as stated above, just off all the great reviews everyone seems to have, or the Solo Performance single exit
Personally I went with the Solo Performance 4in single exit exhaust with the Mach 46 muffler. You'll hear it at start up and when accelerating thru the gears. Once you reach cruising speed, be it 30, 45, or 75 MPH you can just barely hear it in the cab with the radio turned down. Its not a drone, just a rumble. I'd definitely recommended it. I've gotten multiple compliments on it from friends, coworkers and even my local Ford service guys when I got my oil changed a few weeks ago

Absolutely no drone. But great sound while accelerating.

I fabbed up a true 3" catback and used a vibrant performance 3" resonator along with a magnaflow 3" muffler then used the factory tailpipe. It sounds really good, minimal drone which would be gone completely with a slightly larger resonator. I'll try and take a picture tomorrow. All in all I think i have about $150 in it. Pretty happy asis

The best bang for the buck would be to use the factory tailpipe and replace the muffler with something a little more aggressive. Keep the factory resonator in place if don't want drone. Put on a nice tip and your good to go imho. Its what I did at first and I liked it, but decided to go a whole new direction.
