I've had a bunch of different tires on my various F-150s. Of them all I like the Cooper AT/S^3s the best. They ride good, work as good as any AT will off road, are considerably cheaper than some of the others and are made in the USA.

I used to get work trucks for about 10 years through my employers, and I managed to convince my boss to let me put a set of the A/T Revo's on one of the trucks I had at their expense.

These tires were very very good in any road condition, pretty decent when off road too. My only complaints were they were slightly noisy (but not bad for an A/T tire) and they wore out very quickly. They were toast in 30k miles even with regular rotations. This was on a 2006 1/2 ton chevy extended cab truck........but they had the best dry/wet weather traction of any tire I have ever had on a truck.....

These will go back on the truck if I don't trade it in on a 2015 before they wear out. I have almost 17k on these tires, and can barely tell.......I have rotated them every 5k.

+3 on the Bridgestones. And ditto on what Killav-TT says.

I had that exact same experience when I had a set on my 2005 F-150. They were great from the first day I had them till the last, too bad those days were ~33,000 miles apart. That is about half of what I typically get from tires on an F-150.

Firestone Destination ATs. Everyone always leaves them out. Not expensive.

+1 on the Michelin LTX M/S2s. Can't beat them for all-around performance: great in dry, rain, or snow conditions, very quiet, long-lasting. Expensive but worth it. Rotate every 5k and you'll have them for the full 70k.

^ Michelin ltx m/s2 or the ltx at2 for an all terrain. There is not a better all around tire then a Michelin.

Depends where you live and what you do with the truck.

I wanted a winter rated tire and one that I can drive on the field yet still offer decent dry road life.

I chose the GoodYear Silent Armours.

They have been replaced by:

Goodyear Wrangler® All-Terrain Adventure With Kevlar
