Okay, I just picked up my rig. She's back to perfect again and it was only a 3 day turnaround... I threw the boxes on and took a couple pics, before I had to leave again. So, I bought a couple hangers. The type you would use to hang a painting.. I somehow had foam gaskets that fit perfect, but I would silicone under the hanger, if I didn't find those lying around. Then obviously drilled holes and pop riveted them to the back of the top, with the loop hanging down, so it can grab a 5 inch spring. I was going to put the same type of hanger to grab the spring at the bottom, but just bending it straight, and sticking it through a 1/32 hole, then reworked it inside. Working great so far. I'll make a video tomorrow, but with a little nudge the top opens softly and doesn't stress the lids plastic hinges when it fully opens. Doesn't even come close to the support arm, that the box latches onto.

Thanks for the heads up. I do not want to splice any wires, so I'll make up resistors inline with socket extensions if needed.
Tip for the DeeZee assist. Use red lock-tight on the threads. If you want to remove it to get the tailgate off, pop off the retainer that holds the socket on the ball. You can them slip the retainer back on and just snap it back into place. The flare nuts are really finnicky and not a great design.

Do the "raptor mod" and never worry about your deezee again...

728 pages, wow. Lot of great ideas, already did the hooks in center console for other keys and the subwoofer stuffing. Gathering supplies to paint tail light edges
I rarely have the need for seats 4 & 5, more often need the floor space so the built to fit under seat boxes aren't great solution. I can throw this in the bed if needed, even has built in tie down holes for $9. I removed the jack and placed it inside, along with jumper cables, gloves, first aid & tools

"The early history of Fox Racing and Fox Racing Shox were intertwined. Fox Racing Shox is a brand of offroad racing suspension components founded by Geoff Fox's brother, Bob Fox. Fox Racing Shox were distributed by Moto-X Fox and Bob's company was originally under the corporate umbrella of Moto-X Fox. In 1978 Bob's division split out as a separate company called Fox Factory Inc."
