it has lots of uses...I had an old dodge that the dash was shattered, bought one of those dash over lays, i cut up one to put over the speakers, it looked better than the original in my opinion

When you grow up a po man in a po family you start looking around for alternatives

that or clip it, or you can use small screws, noone will see the back of the enclosure....some 3M emblem tape should hold it in fine and allow you to re position it if needed or remove later.....

Looks good man. You can also remove that plastic piece that's attached to the actual bumper for a little more ground clearance if you want also makes the truck look like it's sitting a little higher imho

Looks good, what kind of paint did you use for the detail work? Will any paint stand up to the heat of the engine?

I like it! Do you have a link to the grip tape you used? Or a brand and size. Good work

i used just standard acrylic paint for the detail work. not sure how well it will stand up to the heat but i put extra clear coat over it and all the other paint was rated high enough for the engine area, but i guess only time can tell. ill update in the next week or so to see if it has messed up or anything in that time!

i used Shurtape 2-in x 15-ft Black Safety Tape. i picked it up at lowes for $10, but my running boards had pretty small ridges so i cut strips that were .5-in wide by 4.5 in long then put a little angle cut at the end so it would blend in better.
