My $10.00 mod...the first on a long list of mods:
After about 30 mins cutting and removing brackets/install I am overly surprised at the sound and totally happy with the results.
Took a quick trip around the block and on the freeway here's what I got:
At idle and decel just noticeable if at all; cruising speed just a deep rumble not at all bad; on hard accel it opens up pretty good and has a 'blap' sound almost like a Cherry Bomb. It exits just even with the back of the cab it's barely noticeable from the side at ground level.
No unsightly tailpipe hanging down plus I lost about 20 pounds of ugly weight:
