In my experience fishing line breaks as soon as it starts to get hot. So dental floss would probably break even quicker. I guess any of the suggested methods will work with some patience.

If you use braided line it won't break.

well found out today that stubby/ shorty antennas are indeed junk, reception is awful and i barely nudged it with my snow brush and came clean off the truck so im back to ford oem antenna

I've had two different ones (.50 Cal & Regular) from Cravenspeed and have been very happy with the look and reception to about 25 miles outside of town with our weak reception. Very sturdy as well.

believe it or not... installing marker lights is fairly inexpensive.


a bunch of LED lights can be bought off Amazon for about 10 bucks and then its just wiring. you'll need a drill and big drill bit.

Have regular and reception is not well at all get stations but not as good just like the look that's why it stays on lol

Nite shade + clear coat on my 3rd brake light ($20)... Made a huge difference to the look of my charcoal/black FX2... The stock one looks horrible.
