Made this thing over the weekend out of 1 1/4 PVC. Cost was under 50 bux but I had some spare 1 1/4 pipe from a previous project. Will probably paint it black to cover up the glue run offs.

those look great - i plan to so the same thing. how did you wire them up? assuming you tapped into the dome light circut

yes I did, i tapped the bed lights and the running boards into the same wire, so far so good.
