For less than $50 you can add LEDs to line the bed rails and still have enough connectors left over to do your front signal mirrors and even the center console:

My favorite is my homemade center console:

I think the best mod I did for under $50 is I took the mirror turn signal mod one step further and made it a turn signal / running light. More on this at this thread. Start reading at post #116.
