I have read most(not every single one) of the over 400 pages on this thread. So many great ideas. I recently added these chrome trim pieces, from an eBay seller, for only $40. It included trim pieces for each of the 4 door handles, one for the tailgate, and the tops of the mirrors. Oh, and covers for the door handles themselves, if you got a lesser package from Ford. Personally, I saw all these ideas to black stuff out on our trucks, but I prefer a little more bling on my truck. My Mustang is got plenty enough black for all the horses in the stable.

I did the tailgate lock too. It sure was a bear to find the right wires. Maybe if I wasn't color blind and had a little help it would have been easier. And blacked out the orange reflector on the mirror. I bought some tow hooks for the rear, junk yard, only $15, haven't installed them yet. You guys are great.

I did the same to my 3rd brake light the other day. Use foam insulation tape. Home depot sells rolls of it in varying sizes and its pretty cheap. Frost king is the brand they had at mine.
