I removed the badges and disassembled them. The caps I removed also. Used scotch brite pads to scuff it all up. Cleaned with acetone, primer sealer, 3 coats of paint and 4 coats of clear.

Took a paint roller. Smashed the roller part off it. Plasti-dipped the hell out of the now hook. Then bought an extendable pole.
So for $11 bucks, I got me one of dem dar reaching sticks.
You know..for us older guys.
