ShapeShifter, how difficult was your power tailgate lock? I assume you purchased the lock actuator and did it yourself, instead of spending $100 on the premade kit?
I have seen a few of the threads for installing this, but have not attempted it as of yet.

Well, just because it CAN be done for less than $50, doesn't mean that I actually did for that little. I went with the Pop & Lock PL8250 for $80 from Amazon. It saved me the time of gathering the individual materials and fabricating a mounting bracket - time that I didn't have at the time.

Where are your light bars made? Mine was made in America, by Americans. Assuming yours are made overseas, likely in China, by Chinese workers, the question is....how do YOU, "Mr. Big" sleep at night? And calling out the other manufacturers in your post makes you look incredibly desperate and shallow.
Question,
Which bars are you claiming are made in America by Americans
Rigid has made the statement, final assembly is made in the US
Well take it as you may, we can say the same thing. Do your research on Rigid's assembly process, maybe even take a deeper look into your bar.
CREE is based out of china
So is their heat sink manufacture
Check your facts before you speak next time
Also, send the company you bought your bar from their KY back, it has served it's purpose
"Mr. Big"

The only difference between "Mr Big"(as you so eloquently put it) and say Rigid, is the warranty.
It doesn't make him shallow and desperate, he's pointing out the truth and facts behind his product and competitors.

There is a niche for every product as well as price points. Do your research, Rigids are made to a higher standard than most of the knock offs. Yes the parts may be from china but designed, built, manufactured and distributed here from Arizona, no drop shipments from china.
I don't have time to point out all the differences between the knock offs and Rigids but as a consumer just research the products you want and don't be fooled by the companies stamping ratings in a box.
Go find pics of circuit boards and other parts, you will see a difference.
And I have both types on my truck.

LOL at the made in America comment. Let me guess you run Rigid? Hate to break it to you bud but the bulbs in all light bars are made in China by Cree. You also need to check your facts before calling people out.

Did I say Cree was from China? No I said their bulbs are made in china.
You need to re read my comment before "calling me out"
