Added LED's to the interior. Connected them directly to the Dimmer Switch so I can make the dimmer if I want.
Used 3 sets of LED's. Cost $3.
No pic. as of yet. 1 set under the driver side. 1 under the passenger and the other is under the trim below centre console. They put out a nice blue hue without any visible lights. It turned out pretty nice.

Most automotive LED's don't dim unless you use a special PCM dimmer... They are: on/flicker/off.

Did you check that your dimmer actually works? If so, specifics on the LED's you used?

That's a shame. I would have traded you the black trim from my STX for your silver. Looks good. You did go from silver to black right?

Yes sir. They dim perfectly without any flickering. No Special dimmer was necessary. I just just made a wire harness for all 3 sets to splice into my factory dimmer and is works without a hitch.
I got these on eBay for a buck a set with free shipping. Now the guy is charging $1 to ship.
Still worth $2 for a 30 cm LED strip with your choice of colour.

Yeah you get er. Went to a magnetic grey from the light grey. I will eventually do the rest of the light grey trim to this colour which will include the door panels, passenger side air bag panel, a piece above the steering wheel and maybe all the plastic around the seats. Gonna be a big job so I'm thinking I'll do a little at a time.
Going with black cloth eventually.

Im looking forward to those pics.. I've been wanting to add some LEDs to my truck as well but I wanted them to be dimmable so it looks more ambient and less "ricey". your set up would be the best solution for what I want!
