Still no luck saying "USB2". My USB2 will charge my phone, but won't read the info that is on it. It also recognizes my thumbdrive as the red light comes on on the thumbdrive, but I does not read the info. I plug the same cords into the USB1 (driver's side port) and everything works fine.

Sure its in all the way? If its not showing up when you cycle through the media list and it's plugged in all the way and the cord works in usb1 I don't know what to tell ya. Pull fuse and reset sync maybe?

OK, after doing a rain dance, plugging and unplugging my iPod from the Line In while have my flashdrive plugged into USB2, it finally recognized and was playing from USB2. Am I supposed to be able to toggle between USB1 and USB 2?

Tried the gray plastic dip but I didn't like it.

Is that the anthracite color? I think it'd look slick with a different color inlay. Or even just pick the plasti dip from the lettering and have the black show through. :-)

I wanted to do grey on the inside and black on the outside but could get it to work.

There's two ways to approach this, IMO. You can cut the outline with a sharp razor blade, and score it lightly so that you can peel the inlay part out? Or, you can shoot the plasti dip a lot more sideways so that the paint goes more over the middle rather than the middle inlay part that way when you try to pick just the inside, it'll be easier to pull away without pulling off the rest of the plastidip. Try not to shoot it straight on maybe more than once at the end. Give it a shot, its easily fixable if you mess something up.

Edit: Depending on what year it is, the emblems could come off and if it comes in two pieces, they could be done separately, put back together and put back on.
