You laugh but that's exactly what it is. My Fiancé's BMW had an issue where the washer fluid pump would run uncontrollably even with the car off. I pop the hood to disconnect the battery and its under a plastic protective cover secured with "tamper proof" screws. Long story short, they won and I left it alone but the pump literally burned up.

Does anyone know the link to the website that sells all the different bumper billet inserts? You know the ones to fill in that big hole on the lower bumper? It's been a while but on a thread somewhere there was a link to a place that had many different styles, and it wasn't eBay. Please help.

I believe it. It took me 45 minutes to replace the battery on my 2012 Focus when it imploded itself. Good luck getting to any of the real engine parts without removing the entire front clip, subframe, wheels, LCA's and both coilovers on that car. Moar business for the Ford people.

Hi guys it's my first post here.

I am a new owner of a 2009 screw lariat.

I read all the threads on the ipad mini installs and I really appreciate the quality of workmanship I have seen.

The problem is the ease of use IMO. I have a case for mine and there was no way I was going to remove ipad from case and install in truck on a regular basis.... Just to reverse the process leaving the truck. (I couldn't just leave one In there. I use mine extensively while In and out of the truck)

So for roughly 10 dollars worth of Velcro and some scrap wood and leftover paint... I made a quick mount

Good idea. I always wondered about iPads in the dash that cannot be taken out. How do you sync it with your computer when you need to to add a movie or more songs instead of downloading them through the ipad? Do most people that have them in the dash have the cellular versions? If not you must have a dedicated wifi hotspot in car? What if you need to reset it if it freezes?

I don't use an iPad but it work 100% the same as an iPod from a syncing standpoint.

I keep an iPod in my truck 100% of the time plugged into a USB port. My truck is in my garage or drive way when I park it. My iPod connects to my wifi network and automatically syncs with my computer without being plugged in.
