Talking Plasti-dip!

This was a 5 dollar can of the dip

tape off a little area around it, and when it is dry you just peel off the overspray!

Default LED Hood Lights

Here's a mod I did with leftover LED strip lights from my truck bed lights. 15 feet of strip lights from ebay for less than $13, a mercury tilt switch for $5.50 from ebay, a fusible link and wire tubing from Advance for about $10.

Nicely done! I could never figure why my '98 xlt had a light under the hood and my '11 Lariat couldn't come with one?!

Really, we gotta do it ourselves. Hmmmmm, would be nice stock but we would probably change it anyway, to something better.

My 89 had a magnetic retractable light... Guess they just don't do that anymore. Glovebox lights either.
