KP Texan, have you installed your AT rotors and Wagner pads yet? Just wondering about your impression. As it turns out I must have a caliper issue, my front passenger inside pad is down to the metal while the outside pad looks new. No squealing or anything, happened in about two days, went from quiet to what's that strange noise to holy **** what's wrong with my brakes. Would like to find a set of those grey coated AT Raybestoes rotors for their rust resistance. The veins and hats on mine are pretty rusted. Also looking at the Wagner or Ratbestoes hybrid semi-metalic and ceramic pads.

Yep, I installed them already (photo of installed rotor on pg. 4 of this thread). I was going to wait a bit before posting up a review, since they're just getting broken in (about 500 miles now) and I haven't had a chance to wash my truck to get a take on the brake dust. Overall, I'm quite happy with the Wagner OEx/Raybestos AT rotor combo. Initial bite seems to be pretty good (not overly grippy like some cars I've driven) but well controlled. Have not noticed any fade at all, and I actually think they brake a tad better when warmed up...either that or I'm imagining things. No noise from them either. Best of all, braking is smooth with no shudder and my brake rotors aren't all scored up anymore!

I would definitely try to find a set of the gray coated rotors if you could, since the pads clean off the friction area and then everything else is coated. My only complaint with my setup is that the entire friction surface on mine is uncoated, and there is a small bit of that area on the inside and outside that is not cleaned by the brake pads. Thus, there will be some small rings of rust on the rotor face. It's not a big deal and certainly has no effect on performance, but it won't look as good as a fully coated rotor. That being said, the hat and vanes are well coated on my rotors and I anticipate they will stay pretty good looking for a long time.

Thanks for the reply, as it happened, my brake replacement was immediate and I had to go with locally sourced parts. I picked up Centric rotors an Hawk LTS pads. So far I have only changed my passenger side, so I could safely drive my truck. I replaced the caliper because something was funky and mine looked nasty and I really didn't want to mess with it. I also replaced the brake hose because for $12 why not. The rubber gets worn out and stretches more easily plus whoever replaced the brakes last put the caliper back on with the hose twisted and I was concerned about its integrity. Then I put in fresh brake fluid and bled the new caliper. So far I have noticed an immediate improvement, probably due to the old brake not working properly. I'm eager to get the other side changed out and bed them in properly, hopefully this weekend.

Hard to go wrong with that combo! I had Hawk LTS on my last truck, and I liked them.
