FWIW, after reading many related thread posts plus PIAA brand quality factored too, I ordered a pair of these which will arrive Monday:
Amazon.com: PIAA 15210 H10 (9145) Xtreme White Bulb - Pair: Automotive Amazon.com: PIAA 15210 H10 (9145) Xtreme White Bulb - Pair: Automotive

BTW, this Daniel Stern website topic was informative on origin of yellow lighting and dispelled the myth of superiority in foggy driving conditions:

What's the detail behind the PIAA bulb set referenced, where the description states 45w=60w? On the packaging it has 45w->60. Is this a 45 watt or 60 watt bulb?

From PIAA's website (linked here);
http://www.piaa.com/store/p/46-H10-X...gen-Bulbs.aspx

H10 XTreme White Plus Twin Pack Halogen Bulbs

Xtreme White Plus is PIAA's best-selling technology. These bulbs will provide a brilliant Xtreme cool white light that will light up road hazards and street signs long before a normal halogen bulb. Xtreme White Plus bulbs are engineered for sustained performance in applications where a high level of vibration and moisture protection is required.

Xtra Technology

PIAA bulbs are engineered with XTRA Technology for greater performance per watt compared to the competition. XTRA Technology is achieved when a proprietary gas mixture is combined with an aerospace alloy filament that produces greater light output than its rated power consumption: i.e. 55W = 110W

I just think the piaa are little pricey for a fog light bulb option but they are good bulbs from the reviews. Post some pics when you get them in.

A friend of mine runs these bulbs in his Plat and he is quite happy with them and they look really nice though to me they have a blue tint to them.
